A wine to be cellared, this Riesling produces a powerful structure, a very delicate aroma and a striking mineral character.
Are you looking for a full-bodied, complex wine with an almost breathtaking aromatic diversity and a rich, meaty palate? The Riesling Grand Cru Osterberg from Bott is definitely the right choice! Wonderful expression of terroir with flinty notes. As fruity as it gets!
Winemaker and Winery: Philippe-Louis Bott began producing wines in 1835. His wines quickly gained recognition—including in the U.S. (Gold in Chicago in 1893). The traditional estate, run by Paul and Gladys, owns 26 hectares of vineyards.
Tasting notes: The marl soils of the Grand Cru Osterberg make it the ideal home for Riesling. As a wine with great aging potential and originating from marl soils, the Riesling develops a full body and is characterized by high aromatic finesse and a distinctive mineral character.
Food pairing: Thanks to its fruity notes, it pairs well with all shellfish, seafood, cold appetizers, and mixed salads. Serving temperature: 8°C.
