Tasting notes
Colour: Deep garnet with violet highlights.
Nose: Fine and expressive, revealing aromas of ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry) and cherry, with hints of smoke, graphite and noble woods (cedar, vanilla).
Palate: Beautiful attack, supple and precise. Fine, well-integrated tannins. Juicy mid-palate with lovely freshness. Long finish with spicy, slightly roasted notes.

Respecting the traditional style of Collioure and with its delicate farming in tapered tanks, Magenca is delicate and elegant with tannins present but melted.
Balanced, subtle nose with aromas of blackberry and bramble. Smooth, rich and concentrated on the palate. A fairly massive wine, with powerful but soft tannins.
Dark ruby-garnet, violet highlights, deep core, delicate lightening at the rim. Delicate, inviting wild berries, ripe heart cherries, subtle spicy notes, a hint of vanilla.
Deep garnet-purple color with scents of raspberry pie, warm plums and blackcurrant pastilles plus touches of garrique, tobacco leaf and dusty soil with a hint of bay leaves.
This estate is now enjoying its finest run since its glory days in the 1970s, and the 2020 Giscours is excellent.
