This is one of the best second wines of the Médoc. Like its elder, this is a classic, elegant wine, with a clear, well-designed structure and a long, fresh final.
Full-bodied, present tannins, red berries, liquorice; with duck.
Intense red colour. Aroma of candied cherries on the nose. Well-structured with an elegant, delicate finish.
Supple, elegant Margaux with red fruits, spice, and smooth tannins.
Elegant Haut-Médoc with dark fruits, soft spices, fine tannins and balanced structure. Long finish, classic finesse.
Very serious nose of pronounced blackcurrant cordial, warm plums and blackberry, pencil shavings, violets, dark chocolate and star anise plus exotic wafts of sandalwood and cassia.
