Château de Millet is a family estate located in Éauze, in the Gers department, in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac terroir, renowned for its blond-red soils known as ‘tawny sands’, which are precise and well-balanced.

The 2006 vintage is a vintage armagnac, made exclusively from that year's harvest. The distillation was carried out on site in a continuous Armagnac still heated over a wood fire, using wines produced mainly from the Baco grape variety, renowned for its roundness and ability to age well. The Armagnac is bottled at 42% alcohol

After distillation, the eau-de-vie is aged slowly in 400-litre oak casks, with no added flavourings, sugar or caramel, and no filtration, in order to maintain the purity of the product

Tasting notes

- Colour: warm amber.

- Nose: complex, with notes of dried fruit, sweet spices and oak.

- Palate: rich and velvety, with flavours of wood, ripe fruit and spices.

- Finish: long, smooth and slightly peppery, lingering.

This 2006 Bas-Armagnac from Château de Millet offers a fine combination of tradition and character, ideal for connoisseurs looking for a generous, elegant vintage.
