Tasting notes
Colour: Deep ruby, dark and dense.
Nose: Intense and complex, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, light tobacco, cedar, truffle, leather and fine spices. The bouquet becomes richer with aeration.
Palate: Velvety attack, full-bodied, dense and structured mid-palate. The tannins are extremely fine and perfectly integrated. The wine offers remarkable purity of fruit, controlled freshness and rare depth. An interminable finish, marked by smoky, mineral notes typical of the Haut-Brion terroir.
