Château de Millet is a family estate located in Eauze, in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, a region renowned for its fine, elegant eaux-de-vie. The estate grows its vines on typical sandy soils known as ‘tawny sands’, ideal for producing quality armagnacs.

The 2003 vintage is made exclusively from that year's harvest. After fermentation, the wine is distilled on site in a traditional wood-fired still. Most of the distillation was carried out using the Baco grape variety, known for producing armagnacs that are round and suitable for ageing.

The eau-de-vie was then aged slowly in oak barrels for many years in the estate's cellars. No additives (caramel, sugar, flavourings) or filtration are used, guaranteeing a natural, authentic product. The armagnac is bottled at the château at 42% alcohol.

On tasting, it has a beautiful coppery colour. The nose is expressive, with aromas of vanilla, liquorice, sweet spices and dried fruit. On the palate, the attack is supple, with a lovely roundness and spicy, fruity flavours. The finish is long, delicious and well-balanced.
