Château d'Issan is a wine estate located in Margaux, in the Médoc region. The 2011 vintage is made from a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon and 31% Merlot. 

Wine profile

    - Colour : Deep garnet red.

    - Nose : Aromas of ripe red fruit (blackcurrant, raspberry), violet, liquorice, sweet spices and noble wood.

    - Palate: Supple and round on the palate, with a fine, elegant tannic structure. The balance between acidity and fruit is remarkable, offering a velvety texture and good length.

    - Finish: Persistent, with hints of dark chocolate and toasted wood.
