Château Haut-Brion is one of the five Premiers Grands Crus Classés in Bordeaux, and the only one in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. This historic estate, renowned for its refinement, has produced a noble, well-structured wine of great aromatic complexity in the 2006 vintage. This classic, elegant vintage offers remarkable ageing potential.

Blend

    - 57% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc

This blend produces a wine that is balanced between richness, suppleness and structure.

Tasting notes

    - Colour: Deep red with garnet highlights.

    - Nose: Complex aromas of ripe plum, light tobacco, cedar, smoke, truffle and liquorice.

    - Duck breast or game

    - Pan-fried foie gras

    - Mature cheeses (Saint-Nectaire, Salers)

    - Dark chocolate desserts
