Château Pontet-Canet 2012 is a great red wine from the Pauillac appellation, located in the heart of the Médoc, on Bordeaux's prestigious left bank. Classified as the 5th Grand Cru Classé in 1855, this iconic estate is renowned for the exceptional quality of its wines and its pioneering commitment to biodynamic viticulture.

Tasting notes
- Colour: Deep purple with purplish highlights.
- Nose: Intense, with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, violet, graphite, cedar and sweet spices.
- Palate: Supple attack, structured mid-palate with silky tannins. Beautiful freshness, mineral finesse, long, elegant finish.

Cellaring potential
Already pleasant after aeration, this 2012 has an ageing potential of 15 to 25 years. It will evolve towards more tertiary notes (leather, undergrowth, tobacco).
