Tasting notes

Colour: Intense ruby with garnet highlights.

Nose: Expressive, with notes of ripe red fruit (cherry, raspberry), redcurrant, dried flowers, hints of cedar and sweet spices. Perfectly integrated ageing.

Palate: Supple attack, elegant mid-palate, with mellow tannins and fine finesse. Good freshness that lengthens the wine, finishing with floral, spicy and slightly woody aromas. A balanced, accessible wine, both classic and charming.

Food and wine pairings

  • Duck breast, grilled fillet of beef
  • Poultry, roast or in a light sauce
  • Lamb tajines with prunes
  • Mature or soft cheeses (Brie, Reblochon, Tomme de Brebis)
