Château Pontet-Canet is a wine estate located in Pauillac, in the Médoc region. The 2011 vintage is made from a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.

Wine Tasting Profile

    - Colour : Deep crimson red.

    - Nose : Aromas of ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry), black cherry, graphite, cedar and spices.

    - Palate: Supple and round on the palate, with a fine, silky tannic structure. The balance between acidity and fruit is remarkable, offering a velvety texture and good length.

    - Finish: Persistent, with hints of dark chocolate and toasted wood.
