Château Malartic-Lagravière is one of the most prestigious estates of Pessac-Léognan and one of the few properties classified as Grand Cru Classé de Graves for both its red and white wines. The estate is renowned for producing precise, elegant wines with great finesse, mineral character and excellent ageing potential.

Tasting notes

Colour: Deep garnet red with violet hues.

Nose: Expressive and complex, revealing aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark fruits, complemented by elegant notes of cedar wood, tobacco, graphite, spices and liquorice.

Palate: The Malartic-Lagravière Rouge 2020 is powerful, silky and perfectly balanced. The ripe fruit combines beautifully with an elegant structure, fine-grained tannins and remarkable freshness. A dense yet refined Pessac-Léognan with a long finish and excellent ageing potential.

Food pairing
