Château Belle-Vue 2019, Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois - Parker 88
(€31.87 L)
Aromas of berries and smoky oak. Medium-bodied, lively and melting palate.
Winemaker and vineyard : Vincent Mulliez acquired Château Belle-Vue in 2004. This estate, located in the Sud-Médoc region, comes from an exceptional terroir. The gravelly soil on which the 30-year-old vines grow, combined with traditional growing techniques, produce an exceptional wine. From a 15-hectare vineyard just outside the appellation of Margaux, not far from Giscours, the 2019 Belle-Vue offers up aromas of earthy berry fruit, smoky oak and dried herbs, followed by a medium-bodied, lively and melting palate. It's a creditable effort best drunk over the next decade.
