General Description
Château Giscours 2022 is a red wine from the Margaux appellation, classified 3ᵉ Grand Cru in 1855. It is distinguished by its elegance, finesse and great ageing potential.
Blend
This vintage is composed of:
- 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc
The harvest took place between 1 and 29 September 2022. Vinification was meticulous, with manual and optical sorting, and maceration for 35 days at 28°C. The wine was aged for 17 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which were new.
Tasting notes:
The nose is refined, with aromas of black fruit (blackberry, black cherry), violet, peony, with hints of raspberry, star anise, bergamot and a mineral touch.
On the palate, the wine is silky and well-structured, with fine tannins and a lovely freshness. There are flavours of plum and bright red fruit, with a slightly toasty, mineral finish.

A wine of great elegance and sophistication, with notes of warm fruit and earthy undertones. Plush tannins, exceptional freshness, and a long finish.
Deep purple-black colored, powerful blackcurrants, raspberry leaves and baked plums scents, followed by suggestions of dried Mediterranean herbs, tobacco leaf and graphite.
The Fiefs de Lagrange is characterized by round tannins, aromas of red and black fruits on a youth and still shows good potential.
