Trescarte

Nestled on the volcanic high plateaux of the Auvergne, which sometimes reach an altitude of 1200m, in the very heart of the Appellation territory, Trescarte has become one of the specialists in green Puy lentils since its foundation in 1959. Trescarte then extended its activity to other dried vegetables and expanded its premises. Ongoing investments led to the creation of a second lentil and cereal collection centre on the high plateaux of the Velay-Sud (Costaros) to be even closer to local producers. This strong link to the land and to those who cultivate it is perpetuated as a tradition over the generations that succeed one another at the head of the company. As the guiding principle of the quality policy, it requires a constant presence with the selected producers and very precise monitoring of the products, from sowing to the shelf.
