Origin and background
Founded in 1856, the Savonnerie Fer à Cheval is the oldest soap factory still in operation in Marseille. Recognised as a Living Heritage Company, it perpetuates the ancestral know-how of saponification in cauldrons. This fragrant liquid soap combines the softness of honey with the roundness of almond, in a cleansing base of plant origin, with no preservatives, colourings or animal fats.
Fragrance: Subtle, delicious and soothing. Warm notes of floral honey, soft, enveloping nuances of almond, with a milky touch in the background.
How it feels: Fine, creamy foam. Cleanses effectively without aggressing the skin. Leaves a feeling of comfort and a delicate, non-heady fragrance. Suitable for frequent use, even on sensitive skin.
Suggested uses
Suitable for washing hands and body. Perfect in a refined bathroom or kitchen, thanks to its comforting, discreet fragrance. Recommended for delicate skin or skin prone to dryness. Can be used as part of a skincare routine based on sweet almond or natural products.
