The Rosé Côtes du Lot is a dry rosé wine from Southwest France. It combines the typicity of the region with a modern, approachable style, making it a versatile companion to light dishes or an enjoyable choice on warm days. Its origin in the Lot Valley shapes its distinctive character and gives it an authentic regional identity.

Winemaker & Estate: Clos la Coutale is one of the most historic estates in the Cahors appellation in Southwest France. The property has been managed by the Bernède family for six generations and was established in its present form in 1895. Today, Philippe Bernède and his family oversee the approximately 100-hectare estate in Vire-sur-Lot. Clos la Coutale is particularly renowned for its Malbec-based wines, which reflect the region’s long-standing winemaking tradition.

Tasting Notes: Deep salmon-pink in colour. The nose reveals aromas of strawberries and other red berries, complemented by subtle spice notes. On the palate, it is fresh and well-balanced, with juicy fruit, delicate spice, and a lightly mineral, lively finish. An easy-drinking yet characterful rosé with unmistakable Southern French charm.

Food Pairing: Ideal with summer salads, antipasti, grilled fish, seafood, Mediterranean vegetables, grilled white meats, quiche, and mild cheeses. Also excellent as an aperitif.
