Winemaker and Vineyard: Sacré Coeur is produced on a small 1.5 hectare plot on the magnificent terroir of Château La Croix, owned by the Janoueix family in Pomerol. A short distance from Château La Croix Saint Georges, the terroir of this plot consists of beautiful gravels and fine sands. A combination that allows for both beautiful maturation of grapes and great complexity. Châteaux Le Pin, Pétrus, and Petit Village are our pleasant neighbors in this prestigious Appellation.

Tasting: The color of this Sacré Coeur 2016 is ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose reveals a rich and complex bouquet with notes of violet, ripe red fruits, leather, and nuances of truffle. On the palate, this wine combines roundness and power. An exceptional vintage and a wine to be kept for at least 10 years.

Service: Serve at room temperature (16-18°C) to accompany a sirloin steak with candied shallots.
