Château Guiraud 2017, Sauternes 1° Grand Cru Classé - 37,5cl - Parker 91-93
The 2017 Guiraud gives notes of baked apples, crème brûlée and preserved mandarin peel with touches of crushed rocks and fungi. It delivers great elegance in the mouth with loads of spicy apple and savory flavors, finishing on an earthy note. robertparker.com

Beautiful light yellow robe with green undertone. The nose is intense with dry fruits (apricot) and exotic fruits aromas. The mouth is very silky and opens on a nice minerality with notes of mango and pineapple which encases the palate. Touches of white flower complete this highly pleasant mouth.
Gold colour with emerald highlights; it is a fruity and a rich white wine with a great range of aromas. Its bouquet evokes butter and brioche with notes of lemon, grapefruit and a touch of white flowers. The smoothness comes during its evolution to create a harmonious and solid wine.
Lovely rounded honeyed, slightly buttery nose with touches of white peach and white flowers. Very well balanced, great tension and weight in the middle. Honeyed fruits, mango, peach, a touch of brioche and quince. Complex and displaying some admirable levels of botrytis, the finish is viscous and very focused. Great length. Superb.
Delectable bouquet of honey and white flowers. The palate has a crisp entry, a good level of botrytis with racy acidity. Very harmonious with notes of tangerine, honey and a touch of apricot on the mid-palate. Nice fatness to it and impressive length. Excellent.
