Lovely rounded honeyed, slightly buttery nose with touches of white peach and white flowers. Very well balanced, great tension and weight in the middle. Honeyed fruits, mango, peach, a touch of brioche and quince. Complex and displaying some admirable levels of botrytis, the finish is viscous and very focused. Great length. Superb.
A delicate beguiling nose of white flowers., lemon and pineapple. The palate has modest levels of botrytis but good definition, restrained and understated in style. Tinned pineapple and peach on the finish. Good nervosity. Great potential.
Chalk dust, almond and a touch of peach emerging after some time in glass. The palate is fresh with good weight and good level of botrytis. Notes of honey and quince with good fresh acidity. Floral, peachy finish. A very attractive Sauternes.
The Château Carbonnieux Pessac-Léognan White is a wine for pleasure, a blend characterized by the Sauvignon which confers on it a dynamic blend of citrus notes and a full and elegant palate, all well balanced by the round, rich texture of the Semillon.
The Claret wine of Château La Bretonnière has the body of a light red primeur wine and the fruity aroma of a rosé. The nose is very intense with fine red fruit aromas (blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry…) Well balanced, this wine has a good weight with a lot of red fruit flavors and a long finish.
Dark colour, bouquet of raspberry, blackcurrant and cherry. Fruity taste with soft tannins, pleasant finish. Aged in oak barrels, 100% Merlot (old vines).
