This vintage is outstanding for its display of well ripened fruit, fine, plump tannins, and a good freshness to ensure classic balance.
Bright red colour; it’s a light and supple wine dominated by small red fruits as raspberry and Morello cherry. Moderately tannic but rich and characterful, it evolves towards strawberry jam, with animal and leather notes after few years. The generous and ample mouth appears to be both delicate and long. Smart wine with well-balanced tannins.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Meyney features baked cherries, mulberries and plum preserves on the nose with hints of smoked meats and black olives. The palate is medium-bodied, firm, grainy and a little tart with good fruit expression and length. robertparker.com
