The 2017 Léoville Poyferré is very deep purple-black in color with super intense notes of freshly crushed blackcurrants, wild blueberries and Sichuan pepper with hints of lavender, baking spices and wood smoke. The palate is medium-bodied, firm and grainy with restrained, understated fruit and a long, mineral-laced finish. robertparker.com
Deliciously fruity nose, pleasant acidity on the palate, indicating balance and a good potential to age. Soft, seductive tannins.
“Perfumed, floral notes suggestive of violets, crushed stone and blueberry aromas. In the mouth, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and lush but not over the top, showing great balance and elegance on the lengthy finish.” Parker 93 (The Wine Advocate | 236)

Deep, dense color, very saturated. Fine and complex nose with a very pure expression of fruit, notes of cedar. The palate is full, powerful attack. Fleshy, dense mid-palate, carried by the rich tannins. Exquisite finish supported by a sublime tannic structure, fine, elegant and balanced. This wine embodies the purity of fruit in harmony with a sumptuous tannic structure.
